Job Summary:

Santikos Companies is a privately held business established in the early 1900's that specializes in movie theatres, retail business centers and other real estate investments. The company is organized into lines of business: Theatre Operations and Property Management. 

Santikos Theatres is seeking a Business Development Manager to increase brand recognition and grow attendance and revenue in our theatre-centric entertainment complexes in the Houston market. This position will report to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all Santikos' Houston venues to include movie theatres, restaurants, dine-in theatres, bars, sports lounges, gaming, retail sales, group events and meetings.
  • Identify, attend, and leverage networking opportunities in and around Houston.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Identify advantages and compares organization’s products/services with that of the competition.
  • Identify and execute expo and trade show opportunities for Santikos to promote the brand and drive attendance.
  • Develop and execute specific, targeted marketing campaigns to segments, groups, etc. to drive attendance and revenue.
  • Maintain and drive the social media sites for both Houston locations with direction from the Corporate Marketing Manager.
  • Develop a relationship with local media outlets to showcase Santikos unique amenities and establish them as the industry leader.
  • Make contact with current and potential events clients to develop relationships and market our event services through direct sales calls, social media, networking, site visits and other marketing and sales activities for their assigned location(s).
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar sales role with proven and documented success.
  • Must be self-directed with strong ability to work a flexible schedule to meet client demands.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail and exceptional integrity and dependability.
  • Exceptional time management and follow up skills. 
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal sales skills.
  • 50-75% in the field networking required.

Salary and Office Location:

  • The salary is negotiable.
  • The selected candidate will be assigned to the Santikos' Palladium AVX in Houston and support each Santikos facility in Houston.
